´Carve Me´ bench
Seating through which people can communicate by leaving their own personal mark. The intention is to provoke a response, elicit a reaction on the users part. People are invited to leave their mark on the bench and by that play a role in defining the end result. By giving the user freedom to add whatever they themselves want (can be of personal significance and emotional value), I hope to strengthen the bond between people and objects.
The archetype park-bench was an event at New Designers exhibition, London, as a part of my 3rd year of 3D design at Manchester University.
